The New England Patriots quarterback and former MVP made the comment during a segment on NFL Network’s NFL Live, which aired on Sunday.
Brady has had a clean slate in recent weeks after he was linked to a possible suspension from the NFL.
His contract was terminated on Sunday, but Brady has not been charged in connection with the case.
According to the NFL Players Association, Brady has violated league rules with his use of performance-enhancing drugs.
The NFLPA announced in June that Brady would undergo a pre-employment drug test in July.
Brady, 31, was arrested in New Jersey on Dec. 31 for allegedly failing a drug test following a Nov. 15 game against the New York Jets.
The Patriots will face the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday at Gillette Stadium.
